New Ultra Heavy Duty Push-Pull Clamps Announced


Robust Construction Holds Up to Rugged Use

CLEVELAND, OH - May 3, 2002 - A new series of Heavy Duty "Push-Pull" (HDP Series) style clamps has been introduced by Jergens, Inc. The clamps feature massive cast steel construction. A number of styles are available, including long "L-handles" (shown), which produce forces high enough to perform light metal forming or assembly work such as swaging, riveting or press fitting components, as well as clamping. L-handles can be inserted either in the front or rear of clamp.

Additionally, the mechanism is designed inside the base which prevents stray objects and fingers from being caught.

Holding capacities are from 1,300 to 11,000 lbs.
