Dynisco Now Offers HTH2 Hot Tack Heatsealer with LABSEAL Control and Analysis Software



Franklin, MA (March 2003) - DYNISCO POLYMER TEST will demonstrate the features of its popular HTH2 Hot Tack Heatsealer at NPE 2003 (North Hall Booth #5526) in Chicago, IL this June. Personal computer communications capability and the new LABSEAL for WINDOWS software, which provides programming, control, analysis and data storage capability, will also be on display. This demonstration is a must-see for anyone in the polymer film industry.

The Dynisco Hot Tack Heatsealer is four test machines in one:
o Hot Tack
o Heatsealing
o Heatsealing & Ultimate Strength
o Peel Strength of Heatseals or Laminations

Depending on mode selected from the computer menu, the machine automatically configures itself to perform any of the following tests: Hot Tack (ASTM F1921), Heatsealing, Heatsealing and Ultimate Strength, or Peel Strength of Heatseals or Laminations. This machine is a generation more advanced than other HotTack machines in timing precision (timing accuracy of ± 2 ms), temperature accuracy with automatic calibration (± 0.20C), and commercial machine simulation capability. Making the Dynisco Hot Tack Heatsealer the most versatile system available for film seal strength testing.

In addition to the HTH2, film performance properties can be evaluated using a wide range of instruments built, sold, and serviced by Dynisco. These include:

o The Model 5097 Combi Tester for the measurement of tensile (ASTM D882), elongation, and peel strength, plus coefficient of sliding friction (ASTM D1894).

o The DDI (Dart Drop Impact - ASTM D1709, ISO 7765-1) and the DDI/TE (Dart Drop Impact/Total Energy System - ASTM D4272) systems are designed to perform free falling weight dart impact tests on plastic film and sheeting.

o The LOI Limiting Oxygen Index Chamber for determination of the relative flammability of plastic materials by the ASTM D2863 standard.
