HL2 Lux-Therm Lamps Provides Portable Heat - Infrared Radiant Heat with Temperature Control
The HL2 High Intensity Infrared Heater is a lightweight, hand held heater that provides portable heat for a variety of industrial applications including plastics curing and forming, laboratory testing, paint removal and stripping and more. Two clear high intensity 500-watt tubular quartz heat lamps provide instant electric infrared radiant heat and produce surface temperatures of 680°F (360°C) within 2-½ minutes. The HL2 features two heat ranges, low intensity with one heat lamp switched on and high intensity with two heat lamps switched on. Heat intensity is controllable with the built in variable power controller. A highly polished reflector increases the efficiency of the unit by reflecting the lamp's energy outward to the workplace. A self-contained internal cooling system cools the case so the unit can be held with no danger to the operator. A bench stand is available to use in place of the pistol grip. The lamp assemblies incorporate the unique Lux-Therm "snap-in" system so that lamps can be replaced with no rewiring necessary.
