Heat Transfer Label Film Features Printable Release Surface



A high temperature-resistant release film that is dimensionally stable and provides good conformability for printing onto rubber belts, hoses, and related products is available from PACOTHANE Technologies of New York, NY.

PACOTHANE® Release Film is a proprietary polyester-based film that features a printable release surface for transferring print onto reinforced carbon and rubber compounds, epoxies, phenolics, and polyesters. Providing up to five times more dimensional stability than Tedlar ® for better print resolution, it has an operating temperature up to 400°F for up to six hours.

Available 1.2- and 1.5 mils thick, about 50% larger than typical release films for better handling and conformal characteristics, PACOTHANE® Release Film can be supplied in custom widths up to 81.5" wide on rolls or sheets. Exhibiting <5% X-Y shrinkage, this film is essentially inert with no out-gassing, reduced static potential, and minimal chance for leaving residue.

PACOTHANE® Release Film is priced from $0.12 per sq. ft., depending upon thickness and quantity. Samples and literature are available upon request.
