L-com Introduces 45 Degree Angled HDMI Cable Assemblies

45 Degree Angle HDMI Cable- PVC Jacket- Left Exit

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – L-com, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, today introduced a line of HDMI cable assemblies with connectors molded at 45° angles to allow for  angled connectivity in tight spaces without damaging the cable or port. These new cables follow a series of angled HDMI cable releases, including 90° angled PVC, LSZH, and armored HDMI cables that are currently offered.  The 45° degree angles are designed to still provide an angled bend for tight spaces but also clear raised areas that may be around the HDMI port, such as the rim of a chassis or TV mounting equipment.

HDMI cables are extremely popular for audio/video applications including home theater, digital signage desktop displays and projectors. Often, these applications involve limited space for plugging in the HDMI cable to the display device. While forcing an inline HDMI cable into the space at a tight angle can damage the cable and the port it is plugged into, L-com’s angled HDMI cables allow a safe bend. Among the 45° HDMI cables released today are PVC and LSZH versions with either a right  or left exit.

"The 90° HDMI cables were a big success, but sometimes such a tight angle interfered with the chassis or other objects near the port," said Steve Smith, Product Manager. "These 45° degree cables are the best of both worlds, providing a workable angle for tight spaces."

The new cables are part of an extensive offering of common and unique HDMI cable assemblies on L-com's website. All of them are shipped from L-com's North Andover, MA, USA fulfillment center.
