Hamilton Caster Introduces Hand Truck Made of All Stainless Steel
Hamilton, OH. September 1, 2002 - Hamilton Caster announces a unique new product: a Hand Truck made from all Stainless Steel, Model HM44-S. Made from Type 304 stainless steel 3/4" schedule 10 pipe, the truck stands 46" high and has an overall width of 20-5/8". The hardware is also of stainless steel 18-8. Rated for loads up to 500 lbs., the truck rolls on two 8" x two 8" Versa-Tech® wheels (thermoplastic rubber molded to polypropylene center) with 3/4" Delrin bearings.
Model HM44-S is well suited for harsh environments where there is lots of moisture or other harsh chemicals present. Pharmaceutical companies, food-processing operations, manufacturing plants with wash down areas, and animal care facilities, are all potential users of the new truck. NSF certification is pending.
Model HM44-S joins Hamilton Caster's stable of stainless steel casters and wheels designed for applications from 120 lbs. to 1,600 lbs. The truck is featured in the company's newest full-line catalog, No. 290.
