McGill 26-Watt Lamp Provides Safe, Bright Lighting In Classified Locations


SKOKIE, IL, August 30, 2002 - McGill, a member of the EGS Electrical Group, has expanded its industry-leading hand lamp family to include an explosion-proof, twin-tube fluorescent lamp with a 26-watt rating.

Designed to provide customers with portable lighting in hazardous
locations, McGillls 26-Watt Lamp is UL Listed (Class I, Groups C &D; Class II, Groups F & G) qualifying it for use in oil refineries, chemical processing plants, waste treatment centers and other classified sites. It is also optimal for the inspection of railroad cars, especially those carrying potentially explosive materials.

It delivers bright 1800 lumens output, easy maintenance, and an
exceptionally lightweight (3.5 lbs.) and compact (23.5" length) design.

Built tough to withstand corrosive, abusive environments, the lamp features an impact-resistant, tempered glass globe, plus is completely watertight to assure a long service life.
