Molded Micro Half-Ball Glass Lenses
Moulded Optics GmbH is offering a new line of competitively priced, readily available in small and large volume quantities from stock, of precision molded micro half-ball lenses from B270 (nd = 1.5230), borosilicate (nd = 1.4719) and F2 (nd = 1.6204) glass materials available in diameter sizes of 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm, with standard, truncated and extended center thickness. The hemisphere first surface is molded and the plano second surface is ground and polished. Fly's eye array versions of half-ball lenses are also available. OEM applications include LED lighting, fiber communications, endoscopy, microscopy, optical pick-up devices and laser measurement systems.
