Guden Gears Up for Mil-Spec Hinges Demand
Ronkonkoma, NY, February 19, 2009 - H.A. Guden Co., Inc. announces the deployment of a purchasing and inventory system designed to meet the high demand for Mil-Spec hinges. These days, military hinges are not always easy to find so it is critical to maintain strong supplier relations and significant stock, thereby meeting customers' demands for multiple piece orders and short delivery times.
With its fulfillment system in place, Guden is prepared to provide inventory status, pricing, lead-time, tracing documentation, and value-added services, mostly on demand. "When you are one of the largest suppliers of hinges in the country you have to exceed your customers' expectations for product availability and delivery," says Al Guden, President, "which is why we stock so many types of hinges and lots of them."
Guden stocks MS20001 type 2024-T3511 series extruded aluminum hinges both non-anodized and anodized per Mil-A-8623 type II. MS20257 series hinges are also available from stock in both anodized and non-anodized aluminum as well as in stainless steel. MS35821 to MS35831 and AA55521 to AA55528 series hinges are stocked in aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. Special protective coated zinc plated steel is available as a custom order.
Most Mil-Spec hinges in stock 72" or 84" lengths are available for immediate shipment. Other lengths can be cut in a few days time. Popular H, X and Y type half hinges can also be ordered for quick delivery.
Guden also stocks other military hardware, including MS catches, strikes, and chest handles, and a large variety of U.S. Navy Bureau of Ships locker hardware.
