New Series GRF Grippers Ideal for Limited Space Applications and Provide Exceptional Grip Force
PHD has just released the NEW Series GRF Gripper, which features a fully enclosed, self-lubricating cam driver and jaw covers to prevent contamination and maintain optimum lubrication. The unit's low profile design makes it ideal for limited space applications. In addition, the Series GRF Gripper provides a high grip force to weight ratio and is ideal for gripping parts of varying size.
The Series GRF Gripper is available in four sizes (19, 25, 28, & 32 mm) with one or two jaw travels available per size, which provide superb adaptability to meet a variety of applications. To ensure longevity of service life, each unit is designed with rugged jaw support, hardened jaws, and hardcoated bearing surfaces. All bodies feature dowel pin holes for accurate gripper mounting alignment. The two larger sizes (28 & 32 mm) also provide dowel pin holes in the jaws for accurate tooling alignment.
Optional inductive proximity switches as well as solid state and reed switches are available for indication of jaw position and simple interfacing with electronic system controls. All bodies incorporate twin switch slots for convenient mounting of PHD's reed and solid state switches. A choice of metric or imperial mounting holes, dowel pin holes, and ports provide an excellent MRO drop-in replacement opportunity. Consult PHD or your local distributor for unit compatibility.
