OTTAWA, Dec. 5 -- GridIron® Software today introduced GridIron Nucleo(TM), the first productivity enhancement tool for digital post-production that takes full advantage of new multi-processor and multi-core technology. Nucleo for Adobe® After Effects® unleashes creativity from the bottleneck of compute time, allowing rich motion graphics and visual effects for film, video, DVD and the Web, to be developed in less time, at less cost.
GridIron Nucleo delivers performance gains never before seen on a single workstation, allowing Adobe After Effects to run in parallel on new multi-core and multi-processor technology. This allows users to realize performance gains of up to 300 percent - effectively speeding up their render and preview activities. In the past, these types of performance gains have typically only been supported by methods such as grids, clusters and render farms, which are traditionally expensive to buy, build, and maintain.
