Customers Can Now Protect Email Security With Secure Certificate & Rijndael
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Dec. 21 -- As email security comes under increasing scrutiny, GoDaddy.com(R), the No. 1 registrar of domain names worldwide, both in terms of new daily registrations and domains under management, announced today that its Web-Based Email users can now protect their messages not only with a Go Daddy secure certificate, but also with the added protection of state-of-the-art, Rijndael encryption.
Encryption is the process that helps ensure data security by scrambling a message during transmission. It prevents reading by anyone other than the intended recipient. Go Daddy(R)'s newest encryption technique uses Rijndael, the Advanced Encryption Standard, the encryption standard adopted by the United States government.

The recipient, who must also be using Go Daddy Web-Based Email, then enters the correct password based on the hint to decode the message.
