Glass B/A Ionization Gauge has spring supported filament.

Press Release Summary:

Designed for accurate measurement over range of 2x10-10-1x10-3 torr, Bayard Alpert Ionization Gauge has universal design that enables use with other B/A controllers. Spring supported filament reduces any variation in filament to grid spacing to deliver uniform output over variations in temperature, age, and orientation. Thoria- or yttria-coated iridium filament minimizes burnout.

Improved Glass B/A Ionization Gauge with Spring Supported Filament Delivers Highly Accurate Vacuum Measurement with Greater Stability

Televac/ETI, a leading ISO 9001:2000 manufacturer of UHV measurement sensors, filaments, glass-to-metal seals and feedthroughs, has announced availability of their new Bayard Alpert Ionization Gauge with Spring Supported Filament.

Designed and engineered to provide highly accurate measurement over a range of 2x10-10 to 1x10-3 torr, the gauge's spring supported filament reduces any variation in filament to grid spacing to deliver a more uniform output over variations in temperature, age, and orientation. A thoria or yttria coated iridium filament minimizes burnout for longer filament life.

The gauge's universal design allows it to be easily used with other manufacturers' B/A controllers, and an available Televac MM200 Hot Filament Controller and cable provide a single source solution (or system) for critical vacuum measurement.
