GeoVision's full-frame-rate multi-functional digital surveillance system, the GV-1480 Combo Card, was selected by the MIPS judge panel for the best security product of the year, in recognition of technology innovation, quality design, software capabilities, and brand awareness.

The award winning GV-1480 Combo System is a multi-functional intelligent surveillance systems designed as a total security solution. The GV-Combo System provides 16 channels of audio/video real-time monitoring function and simultaneous recording at up to 30 FTP per channel. GV-1480 provides Geo H264, Geo Mpeg4, Geo Mpeg4 (ASP) compression technologies, generating full-frame-rate, and optimized digital video quality. Users can remotely monitor live video feeds using 3G mobile phone, Smartphone, or PDA. Remotely controlling I/O devices and PTZ cameras via handheld devices or value-added central monitoring software is also possible.
