ATLANTA/MINNEAPOLIS (April 10, 2007) - TRX, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRXI), a global technology company that develops and hosts software applications to process data records and automate manual processes, and Gelco Expense Management, the leader in Services On Demand for global expense management, today announced an alliance to integrate data from TRX's RESX corporate online travel booking solution into Gelco's ExpenseLink on-demand service.
Both TRX and Gelco recognize as organizations become increasingly multi-national and multi-divisional, and as advances in technology make available ever greater amounts of information, businesses must find new ways to bring together disparate data from a wide variety of sources to drive improvement, eliminate organizational process complexity, and fuel healthy growth.
Companies today access travel and entertainment (T&E) data from several disparate sources including their travel management company, their corporate card, an online booking tool, and their expense management provider.
Working together, TRX and Gelco will leverage RESX's Web Services capabilities to seamlessly transfer travelers' reservation details from RESX into Gelco's ExpenseLink solution. If travelers change their reservations - whether online or through a travel agency or supplier - RESX will transfer updated reservation information to ExpenseLink to ensure expense reporting data is always consistent with reservation data. This interconnectivity allows clients to turn richer expense data into actionable intelligence to solve business problems, make strategic decisions, and improve control over travel and expense spending.
