Controlotron Announces SonicGas(TM) - Cavity-Free, Ultrasonic Gas Flowmeters with Custody Transfer Accuracy
Controlotron, a leading manufacturer of custody transfer liquid flow meters, now offers the same great WideBeam(TM) technology for natural and process gas. The Cavity-Free design improves performance and reduces maintenance expenses as compared to insert type designs using either wetted sensors or wells. SonicGas(TM) is available for line sizes 1 1/2" to 48" in diameter.
SonicGas(TM) provides certified flow rate accuracy of 0.5% or better in accordance with AGA-9 requirements. Diametric, Reflect mode design cancels out errors due to crossflow and is highly tolerant of swirl conditions and wet gas conditions. In addition, SonicGas(TM) offers the ability to set the zero point without the need to shut flow or block in the meter, using Controlotron's unique Zeromatic Path(TM) technology.
Field installable clamp-on meters are also available for check metering and transportable applications.
