New Gas Delivery System Provides Flexibility in Laser Assist Gas, High-Pressure Applications
System Works for Both Start Up, Point-of-Use
May 24, 2004 - Virginia Beach, VA - A new easy-to-use gas delivery system designed to service start up
and point-of-use installations in laser assist gas and other high-pressure applications has been introduced by
CONCOA.
With varied options for user flexibility, the 622 Series Delivery System has single-body design suited for start up of twelve-packs or liquid cylinders. The dome-loaded seat offers excellent response and flow capacity, enabling the system to transition easily into a point-of-use regulator of a bulk installation.
Used for Nitrogen and Oxygen assist gases from either cryogenic or high-pressure supply, the 622 design utilizes an integral pilot regulator with a stainless diaphragm and a brass bar stock body to maintain purity. The 622 offers a PTFE [for 3,000 PSIG (208 BAR) inlet or Kel-F® seat [for 4,500 PSIG (310 BAR) inlet and PTFE and Viton® internals for maximum flexibility. Tubing and tube fittings are of high-grade 316L stainless steel, and pressure gauges have a brass case and socket and a bronze Bourdon tube.
Maximum inlet pressure ranges from 600 PSIG (42 BAR) to 4,500 PSIG (310 BAR), and temperatures from -40 to 140°F (-40 to 60°C). Maximum flow for Nitrogen is 6,000 SCFH (2,800 lpm). Inlet and outlet connections are 1/2" FPT, and weight is 12.5 lbs. (5.7 kg).
