NEW Series PDG Disappearing Gage

PHD announces the release of its NEW Series PDG Disappearing Gage. The Series PDG Gage features a simple, rugged design and is ideal for stopping and positioning sheet metal panels or other parts. The gage's compact design allows it to fit inside a progressive die where it will retract or "disappear" from the work area as panels move to the next stage of processing.

The Series PDG Gage is available in six stroke lengths (50, 80, 100, 125, 160, & 200 mm) and is powered by an ISO/VDMA cylinder. The cylinder is designed with standard adjustable cushions and a magnetic piston for proximity switches to provide end of stroke sensing. Built-in rod compliance eliminates side loads on the cylinder's piston rod. The unit's guide bar includes a hardened impact surface to protect it from damage. A unique energy absorbing, self-lubricating bearing supports the guide bar and absorbs energy as parts are stopped.

The Series PDG Gage works well in stamping or part stopping applications and can be used independently or in conjunction with PHD's NEW Series PDK Crowders. Units are shipped in one working day from receipt of order and offer a low cost of ownership.
