New Fuse Terminal from Weidmuller offers Protection in a Small Package



RICHMOND, VA (January 30, 2006) - Weidmuller introduces a new low-profile fuse terminal for implementing short-circuit and overload protection for process and industrial applications. At only 2.13" (54mm) high, the WSI 4/2 fuse terminal is ideal for use in electrical cabinets to protect power supplies or additional critical loads.

The WSI 4/2 fuse terminal features a standard 4mm2 screw clamping system, and accepts a standard 1 ¼" x ¼" U. S. fuse. Various LED options provide blown fuse indication across a voltage range of 10-250V. These fuse terminals can be ganged together by means of an interlocking disconnect lever, which provides a quick and easy method to disengage a two- and three-phase application.

Weidmuller's new WSI 4/2 fuse terminal is UL rated for 300V, 15A and 30 . . .10 AWG. The combi-foot design provides for mounting on both TS-32 and TS-35 DIN-rails, and the large marking area accommodates Weidmuller's standard WS and DEK markers.
