Larson Electronics LLC Releases LED Drop Light with Daisy Chain Connections
Industrial lighting leader, Larson Electronics LLC, announced the release of LED Drop Light/Task Light with hooks, that features a two-foot-long LED lamp with a polycarbonate lens for exceptional light quality and durability compared to incandescent. This drop light is ideal for civilian and military shelters, as well as general maintenance, construction and ship yards.
The Larson Electronics FTL-3-LED-ILC-5 is a 14 watt portable LED task light equipped with a 2-foot LED T8 lamp protected by a polycarbonate lens, making it shock resistant, and durable enough to withstand drops and rough handling. The T8 style bulbs produce 1,750 lumens and do not require a ballast to operate. The lens is slightly frosted, helping diffuse light. Additionally, this task light does not contain glass components making it food safe. An internal driver automatically monitors and adjusts input current to maintain correct LED voltage levels. These universal voltage fluorescent style LED bulbs run on voltage ranging from 120-277V AC and 11-25V AC/DC.
The FTL-3-LED-ILC-5 is weather resistant, constructed of nylon housing for rigidity and strength. The drop light operates at a much cooler temperature, which helps reduce the chance of burns and fires. The unit is also energy efficient with a lamp life of over 50,000 hours. This drop light comes with a set of drop hooks to conveniently hang it overhead anywhere illumination is needed. The fixture also has a machined handle at the base of the light for handheld operation.
