FSR Presents Latest 2X1 HDMI Switchers with FIFO or LIFO Options

FSR Announces Firmware Upgrade for 2X1 HDMI Switchers
Units to Now Ship with Easy FIFO or LIFO Options
Woodland Park, NJ – October 12, 2018 – FSR, a leading manufacturer of a wide variety of infrastructure solution products for the audio/video, Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), education, corporate, hospitality, and government markets, announces that its DV-HSW-21A and DV-MFSW-21A 2X1 HDMI Switchers are now shipping with new firmware that can make them FIFO or LIFO with a simple serial command.
“With the latest firmware upgrade, FSR has made it easier than ever for our customers to choose between FIFO or LIFO modes on our 2X1 HDMI Switchers,” says Jan Sandri, president, FSR. “With LIFO mode, users who plug in to a switcher overrides a stationary source or anyone plugged in prior. With FIFO mode, the presenter will never be interrupted when someone else plugs in. We couldn’t be more excited to get these upgrades out to the industry!”
The DV-HSW-21A is a 2X1 HDMI Switcher that supports up to 4K x 2K @ 30Hz, is HDMI 1.4 and HDCP compliant, and features embedded audio support. The DV-MFSW-21A 2X1 Switcher includes one HDMI and one VGA (HD-15) Input and HDMI output also supports resolutions up to 4K x 2K @ 30Hz. The VGA (HD-15) supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 @60Hz and features analog video converted to HDMI with embedded audio. It is also HDMI 1.4 and HDCP compliant.
The new units with the firmware upgrade are now shipping.
