New Siemens Sinamics G110 AC Frequency Inverter Delivers High Volume Performance at Low Cost



ATLANTA (July 22, 2003) - Siemens Energy & Automation has introduced the SINAMICS G110, a compact, low power AC drive frequency inverter for the low-cost, high-volume marketplace. Delivering smooth and continuous speed control, the SINAMIC G110 operates variable-speed, three-phase motors on single-phase line power supplies.

The SINAMICS G110 frequency inverter is rated for 200-240V input with a power range of 1/6HP to 4HP. Part of Siemens' ongoing introduction of new motors and drive products, the new drive is ideal for light and heavy industrial applications and increases the MICROMASTER MM410 AC drive's power rating to 4 HP.

Available in three frame sizes, the SINAMICS G110 offers heightened flexibility with mechanical/functional options that include space saving flat plate versions, serial set point controlled versions, and analog set point controlled versions.

The easy-to-install inverter-featuring fast-connection terminals-allows installers to make connections without removing covers.
