Freedom Applications Releases AMMO version 4.0
Cleveland, Ohio -September 1, 2005 - Freedom Applications Ltd. today released A.M.M.O. (Access Manufacturing Management Overlay)® version 4.0, the fully integrated manufacturing management software system designed specifically for small manufacturers.
Version 4.0 features improvements & changes to the original AMMO software as a direct result of the continuing dialog between Freedom Applications and their customers to improve AMMO and meet their continuously evolving needs.
Major changes in AMMO version 4.0 include:o Combining several modules; going from 8 modules to 6 modules. Version 4.0 has combined the Financial & Checkbook modules into a single module to help the end-user work more seamlessly. Likewise, the Configuration & Repair modules were also combined. All modules are still available at one low price.o Inventory tracking has also changed. AMMO now gives you the ability to track batches or lots, keep track of inventory in multiple locations, and determine the rules of how you value your inventory. The new inventory valuation gives you the choice of using LIFO (last in first out), FIFO (first in first out), or standard costing.o Several management tools have been added & improved as requested by our customers. These features include:o Two new MRP functions- current & projected MRP to better plan a production scheduleo Improved tracking & reporting of open sales orders, open work orders, and open purchase orderso The ability to have up to two tax agencies reported for each customer.o Improved processes to record payments received via Credit Cards
AMMO version 4.0 is available starting at $950 for a single user version and $3900 for a full network version.
