lighting fixture. It is ideal for providing inconspicuous illumination of residential furniture (cabinets, curios, and bookcases), reception counters, computer and office workstations, kitchen and bath cabinetry, closets, and retail display cabinetry.
Product Description: SlimLink is characterized by its ultra-slim 3/4 inch-high by 1 3/4 inch-deep profile. This allows it to be easily concealed under curved or flat surfaces and valances, facilitating integrated lighting design solutions for wood, metal or glass casework.
SlimLink housings may be specified in 4 lengths, between ten and twenty-three inches, for maximum versatility. Lights can be used alone, end-linked or cord-linked to form continuous rows of up to ten units per run. Slender T4 linear fluorescent lamps with cool operating temperatures provide energy-efficient, long-life illumination, in wattages ranging from six to twenty per SlimLink unit. A clear prismatic acrylic diffuser shields the lamp from the viewer's eyes, providing glare- and shadow-free, 120-degree light distribution that fills large spaces with light.
Construction & Finishes: SlimLink housings are constructed
from durable extruded aluminum with injection-molded polycarbonate knockout end caps for the two metallic finishes (Brushed Nickel and Matt Chrome), and injection-molded high-impact plastic for the White and Black finishes. For assured electrical safety, SlimLink is UL and CUL listed for both direct-wired and portable plug-in installations.
