Fluorescent Leak Detection Dye works with all refrigerants.
Press Release Summary:
Eliminating need to match unique dye with specific refrigerants or lubricants, solvent-free AR-GLO/E® can be used with any refrigerant as well as with mineral oil, polyol ester, and alkyl benzene lubricants. After injection into system, dye and refrigerant escape wherever leaks occur. Refrigerant evaporates, but dye remains at site of leak. When scanned with Spectroline® ultraviolet or UV/blue light lamp, dye glows to pinpoint location.

Universal Fluorescent Leak Detection Dye is Compatible with All Refrigerants!
Westbury, New York - HVAC/R technicians no longer have to waste valuable time trying to match a fluorescent leak detection dye with specific refrigerants or lubricants in air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. Solvent-free AR-GLO/E® universal fluorescent dye can be used with any refrigerant, and with mineral oil, polyol ester and alkyl benzene lubricants. There are several ways to add AR-GLO/E dye to AC&R systems. The EZ-Ject(TM) multi-dose dye injector or single-dose GLO-STICK® capsules are used for small to medium size AC&R systems. The BigEZ(TM) multi-dose dye injector is designed for medium to large AC&R systems. For large systems, such as supermarkets and refrigerated warehouses, the Mist Infuser(TM) pump injector is recommended. Fluorescent leak detection is fast and foolproof. Simply add AR-GLO/E dye to the system and allow it to circulate with the refrigerant and oil. Wherever there is a leak, the refrigerant and dye will escape. The refrigerant evaporates, but the dye remains at the site of every leak. When the system is scanned with a high-intensity Spectroline® ultraviolet or UV/blue light lamp, the dye glows brightly to pinpoint the precise location of all leaks. The dye remains safely in the system for future inspections. For more information about AR-GLO/E universal dye, write to Spectronics Corporation, 956 Brush Hollow Road, Westbury, New York 11590.
