Ushio Announces New Ultra 5000(TM) T10 Fluorescent Lamps
Cypress, CA (October 2001)- Introducing Ushio's new Ultra 5000(TM) F40T10 fluorescent lamps. The T10 fluorescent lamps can produce 15% higher lumen output of clean, natural daylight color in comparison to the standard T12 fluorescent lamps. Our Ultra 5000(TM) lamps can be used as a direct replacement for standard T12 fluorescent tubes without changing the ballast. If used with elcctronic ballasts, an additional 15% energy savings can result. In addition, T10s are ideal for critical lighting applications because of the exceptional color rendering index of 90. Manufactured with a cathode guard, darkeniing around the end of bulb is minimized throughout the 20,000 hour long life expectancy. Ultra 5000(TM) T10 fluorescents are available in 4 feet, 40 watts with a color temperature of 5000K.
