Universal Flow Monitors, Inc. introduces a new and improved Coolpoint(TM) vortex shedding flowmeter for measuring and monitoring flows of water and low viscosity fluids such as water-based machine coolant and water/glycol mixtures.
Totalizing capability is a new feature of the CoolPoint(TM) flowmeter. The meter now has a scaled pulse output as a standard selectable option. This scaled pulse output increases the meter's ability to measure, monitor and control the total amount of liquid used in a process.
Accuracy of the CoolPoint(TM) meter has been improved to +/-2 percent of actual flow. Repeatability continues at +/-1 percent of actual flow. The improved accuracy and high repeatability provide more efficient monitoring and control of cooling flows during a process.
The new and improved Coolpoint(TM) meter remains easy to specify, install and use and continues to be economically priced. The vortex shedding meter has no moving parts to stick or coat.
The Coolpoint(TM) meter is available in sizes ranging from 1/4 inch to 2 inches, providing flow rates ranging from four-tenths of a gallon per minute to 200 gallons per minute. The meter is sold by pipe size and all other features are selectable by pushing buttons on the meter face. Prices continue to range from $350 for the 1/4 inch to $700 for the 2 inch model.
