Flow Meter works in high temperatures.

Press Release Summary:

IR 4 combines laser infrared absorption, time of flight, and cross-correlation IR signature techniques to determine flow in most gas streams, including dirty and/or hot applications up to 2200°F. It has analog outputs, serial PC communications, tactile membrane keypad for customer configuration, and can drive remote display. IR 4 measures and calculates flow, process temperature and pressure, velocity, volumetric flow, and mass flow.

IR 4 Hi-Temp Flow Meter

Flow Monitor for the Most Difficult Applications

Epsilon Technologies has developed the most advanced Flow Monitor for process gas requirements, including the most inhospitable applications, available on the market today.

Traditional, non-contact methods for measuring flow have suffered from a severe temperature limitation, requiring gas temperatures below 500°F to operate. By combining Laser Infra-Red Absorption, Time of Flight and Cross Correlation IR Signature techniques, the IR 4 is able to accurately determine Flow in most gas streams, including dirty and/or hot applications up to 2200°F.

The Hi-Temp Flow Meter Control Unit incorporates analog outputs, serial PC communications, a tactile membrane for full customer configuration, and is capable of driving a remote display. The IR heads contain no moving parts.

The IR 4 measures and calculates Flow, Process Temperature and Pressure, Velocity, Volumetric Flow, and Mass Flow. The IR 4 is a very versatile instrument for a wide variety of demanding applications, such as Power, Cement and Asphalt.
