New from Veris Engineering - The Accelabar(TM) is a unique flow meter that combines two differential pressure technologies to produce high accuracy with no straight run requirements over operating ranges never before attainable in a single meter. The Accelabar combines a unique nozzle design with a Verabar® averaging pitot sensor. The nozzle has a patented straight run "settling distance" that accelerates, linearizes and stabilizes the velocity profile sensed by the Verabar. The Verabar located within the nozzle produces and substantially increases the differential pressure output resulting in operating ranges up to 65:1. Independent testing verifies that the Accelabar has a constant flow coefficient over the entire flow range producing an accuracy of ±0.75% and repeatability of ±0.075%.
