New Flow Meter for Water and Coolants
June 19, 2002 - Hazel Park, MI - Universal Flow Monitors, Inc., introduces its newest flowmeter, the Coolpoint®. This fluid vibration flowmeter sells for $350.00 US and is used for water, water soluable cutting oil, and water/glycol coolant applications. The fluid vibration design features no moving parts to wear or clog. This design also eliminates the need for a thermal probe ensuring that it does not become coated, thus holding the Factory Calibration. The Coolpoint features a bright LED digital display of the flow rate, with a user-configurable alarm and 4-20 mA output. Technical specifications are 200 PSIG operation pressure with accuracy at 5% of full scale. A response time of 1 second to 63% flow is standard.
