Dynasonics Introduces Multi-Pipe, Multi-Path Transit Time Clamp-On Flow Meter, Series TFXM
Racine, Wi., June 1, 2003: The Dynasonics Series TFXM Multi-Pipe, Multi-Path Clamp-on Flow Meter uses time of flight ultrasonic technology to measure virtually all non-aerated homogeneous liquids. This non-invasive unit provides a measurement system with unsurpassed accuracy, versatility, and low-cost of installation. The Series TFXM installs quickly by clamping transducers to the outside of pipes ranging in size from 2" to 100". Configurations for various applications are available, including summation, difference, master meter, and multiple-path, single-pipe averaging. Each measurement channel contains integral 4-20mA, dual-relay and RS485 communications. The optional Windows®-based UltraLink(TM) software and infrared adapter allow complete programming and calibration via a PC.
Additional Product Features Include:
o Easy, low cost installation, with virtually no maintenance.
o Accurate readings without the need for long runs of straight pipe.
o Simple configuration using UltraLink(TM) software.
o RS485 communications allows up to 128 meters to be configured and displayed through a single unit.
Additional output and communication modules include rate pulse, RS232, 200k-event data logger and BTU/Heatflow. The optional Windows®-based UltraLink(TM) software utility and infrared adapter are available for easy configuration, calibration, and troubleshooting through the use of a notebook PC.
