Gasoline Vapor Recovery Hose Flexible, Lightweight and EPA Compliant
A new gasoline vapor recovery hose that provides superior resistance to hydrocarbons, is flexible, lightweight, and operates in cold temperatures is being introduced by Hi-Tech Hose, Inc. of Georgetown, Massachusetts.
Hi-Tech VRU Hose is made from clear polyurethane that is reinforced with a bright orange ABS helix for safety, and has an encapsulated soft-stranded copper grounding wire to prevent static build-up. Fully compliant with EPA requirements for use recovering hydrocarbon vapors during tank loading and drop to storage tanks, it is UV-resistant and operates from -40°F to 200°F.
Flexible and lightweight, a 3" I.D. by 20 ft. length of Hi-Tech VRU Hose weighs just 12 lbs. and has a bend radius of 3.75" per ft. Allowing visual inspection in case of splash back, the hose comes in 2"-, 3"-, and 4" I.D. by 60 ft. standard lengths. A supplemental helix is available to assure tight sealing and a crush-proof version is also offered.
