Description
The IBM SurePoint Solution Flat Panel Display is a high-resolution, full-color, flat panel interface that attaches to the system units or PCs via the analog video and powered USB ports. It provides five-in-one performance, including a full-screen display, touch panel, optional keypad, pointing device, and speaker/microphone.

The touch-screen interface is the simplest input method and, therefore, well suited to public use at POS terminals. The 32-key, programmable keypad offers familiar key entry of data and is sold along with a highly convenient magnetic stripe reader. The thumb-operated pointing device enables users to navigate both browser- and Windows-based applications with ease.

Standard features include a compact design that provides a viewing area comparable to a large CRT, active matrix SVGA (800 x 600) resolution display for full motion video in multimedia applications, direct attachment to an analog video port with no adapter required, integrated and distributed mounting configurations, and a Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA)-compliant mounting option for custom configurations.

The IBM SurePoint Solution Flat Panel Display also is available with an optional integrated stereo speaker system and microphone as an attachment. The speaker and microphone housing is physically mounted on the back of the flat panel display. To be connected to the system, you must have a sound card (Sound Blaster or industry compatible). This speaker/microphone system enables you to fully realize your IBM SurePoint Solution Flat Panel Display as a complete multimedia device.
