Flat and Compact - New Flat Gear Motor Named F105



The German-based company Heidolph Elektro GmbH & Co. KG proudly presents its latest design & development project in the field of gear motor engineering: the brand new flat gear motor named "F105". Small and compact in size, it can be used for applications offering only tiniest installation space. This is due to the motor's integration inside a housing: stator and ball bearings are fit into an aluminium die-cast enclosure to achieve an extremely dense and cost-effective design.

The gear uses ball bearings and therefore allows high axial forces. The standard version comes with hollow shaft. As an option, customers can choose an insertion shaft for the left, right or for both sides. The closed gears (protection class IP 54) do not require maintenance due to their synthetic oil filling. F105 can be ordered with a broad range of ratios, starting from 47,2:1 up to 995,5:1. For special needs, Heidolph offers to realize customized ratios as well. The terminal box is already integrated within the gear housing. The gears do have an overload capacity of up to 1,5 times. Brake or torque support can be delivered on customer's request. The new flat gear can be combined with both capacitor and three-phase motors. In total, customers can choose between six motor types with a power output of 20 to 80W.
