Portable Mini Series Model LX-5 LED Flasher
Application: To Indicate Work Areas In A Building Where There Is Normal Walking Traffic
Lumastrobe, a manufacturer of flashing warning lights, announces the availability of its Model LX-5 Mini Series "D" cell powered warning light using LED lamps.
The LX-5 model is a waterproof flasher with a 360° Fresnel lens and (5) super LED lamps. The flash rate is 60 double flashes per minute and an average flash time of 150 hours using (2) "D" cell alkaline batteries. It features an external push button on/off switch, magnetic base and a top cord for carrying or hanging. Unit measures 4" diameter base x 5-1/2" overall height and weighs 1 lb. 2 oz. (including batteries). With the batteries in the base and a low center of gravity, the unit is very stable when placed on the ground; many applications are made possible with its magnetic base feature, as well.
A "handle adapter" has been specially designed to be used with the LX-5 LED flasher. It screws on to the base, replacing the battery cover, and provides a sturdy 1-3/4" diameter x 4" long handle for use as a manually held flasher or it can be mounted into the top of a standard roadway cone. This assures that they can be set up quickly, unattended, and yet be highly visible. Available in amber.
As a self-contained unit it is ideal for rapid deployment. With hundreds of uses, marking dangerous conditions where construction or maintenance work (floor washing) is taking place, or general warning use. Small, rugged and dependable, they can easily be stored in a trunk or cart. Used in multiples an area can be easily and quickly indicated. Ideal for inside as well as outside applications.
