Bridgeport Fittings Introduces WHIPPER-SNAP(TM) Connectors: The Most Convenient, Easiest-To-Assemble, Snap-in Fittings Available
STRATFORD, Conn., Aug. 3, 2005 - Bridgeport Fittings introduces WHIPPER-SNAP(TM) connectors, the industry's most convenient, easiest-to-assemble, snap-in fittings. The fittings are constructed of die-cast zinc and feature a hardened spring steel-locking ring. WHIPPER-SNAP(TM)'s low profile locking device eliminates the need for a locknut and installs in seconds. Users just push the connector into the knockout. Cables may also be pre-assembled, or easily installed after the connector is in box. Either way, connector assembly is a "snap."
WHIPPER-SNAP(TM)'s double locking tabs hold the connector tight in the box, and additional tension tabs provide maximum continuity and a clear wire path. The easy push-through design eliminates snags and wire damage.
Removing WHIPPER-SNAP(TM) connectors is also easy. Users simply depress the tabs with a flat blade screwdriver.
WHIPPER-SNAP(TM) connectors are UL listed for grounding when installed in accordance with the National Electric Code, and are suitable for use in health care facilities (HCF).
