Janus Announces New Fire Shutters
(Temple, GA) Janus International has received UL approval for their new counter fire shutter line, which includes manual pushup, awning crank, chain hoist and motor-operated models in painted steel and stainless steel selections. Labeled for up to three hours of protection, the FS40 Series fire shutter features simple installation and drop testing designs that any installer will appreciate, including a new and proprietary selectable governor system unique to Janus fire protection products. "There will be more to unveil with this line of shutters, including integral frame construction, S label availability and simple test ability," says David Dawdy, commercial products manager. "We are well underway with additional innovations and approvals that will enhance this line further and help bring it to the front edge of product development."
