PLANO, Texas, June 16 -- Perot Systems Corporation (NYSE:PER) (www.perotsystems.com) today launched Xcelys(TM) for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), a software platform that will allow the company to further increase cash collections for hospitals and health systems while also reducing collection expenses for hospital clients.

Xcelys for RCM enhances hospital revenue cycle operations by accurately capturing and processing data, streamlining workflow, and processing remittance advices. An added benefit with the software platform is that it can co-exist with the client's back office systems. Xcelys for RCM channels revenue cycle tasks to workers with specialized skills to rapidly address the task either locally or at a network of Perot Systems service centers. This new level of functionality is expected to improve revenue capture while reducing the manpower requirement for hospital business offices by up to 40%.

Xcelys for RCM can handle all HIPAA standardized electronic data interchange (EDI) transactions and other elements of the revenue cycle, including contract management. Xcelys for RCM facilitates the capture and exchange of key data during the revenue cycle, including claims information, remittance advice, contractual details and other critical payment and processing data elements.
