New Oak 1400 Fin Press and Line from Burr Oak Tool



Burr Oak Tool Inc. introduces the new OAK FP-1400 Fin Press and Line for HVAC and refrigeration applications in the heat transfer industry. The new press features a 160 ton (1400kN) rating for increased manufacturing capacity with extensive solid modeling and added weight optimizing press rigidity for more consistent product output. The 1400 is able to handle higher tensile fin stocks and more holes; even thicker materials common in refrigeration are easier to manipulate with the greater tonnage capacity.

Other features include a balanced platform which minimizes vibrations, ensuring accuracy at higher press speeds. Fin stacking is enhanced as press movement decreases. A new electronic servo-feed centers and balances the forces on the feed shaft and allows easier access to the left side of the press and die. The press operator is able to program the fin length using a touch screen on the control panel.
