D-Mark Offers New Carbonweb® Roll Media
Chesterfield, MI - 5/27/03: Chesterfield, MI-based D-Mark, Inc. presents new and improved CarbonWeb® (CW) Filter Roll Medias. CW medias are pleatable without wire backing, are UL Class 2 approved and are also suitable for die cutting, or sewing.
CarbonWeb is a carbon filled, fiber media that provides low air resistance and high capacity. CW materials of 1/8" to 3/8" thick contain carbon loadings of 15, 25, 45 or 90 grams/square foot (equivalent to 160, 265, 480 or 960 grams/square meter). Roll medias are sold in 100' rolls and in a variety of widths.
CarbonWeb medias also utilize water purification carbons, impregnated alumina and zeolites either alone or blended with carbon. Pre-filter media can be added to improve particulate removal. By integrating the carbon and/or other adsorbents "inside" the web, the resulting products are extremely clean. There is virtually no shedding of particles or dusting from either side.
Roll Medias can be used to create a tailor-made filter design, or customized by D-Mark to match individual filter specifications.
