Filter Press Membrane Diaphragm Filter Plate System
A newly developed membrane filter plate in the empty chamber design utilizing a detachable membrane made from elastomeric compounds will further expand the Klinkau filter plate product line.
The new product is the result of many years of experience with detachable membrane plates in combination with our own raw material developments.
The new sealing system between the membrane body and membrane is identical on both, the sealing edge and the stayboss supports. Therefore, no additional sealing parts are required. It reliably separates filtrate, wash-and squeeze mediums during the complete filtration cycle. Additionally, the system successfully prevents the drainage of the squeeze medium within the filter press when opened for cake discharge.
The design of the membrane filter plate allows special solutions:
CGR version (leak free)
Different feed eye positions
Special designs for high squeezing pressures up to 30 bar
Antistatic membrane for explosion proof areas
Viton membranes for application temperatures between -20 deg C up to +105 deg C
Individual adjustable material properties, particularly in different material hardness'es enable the membrane plate to be used in almost all filtration applications.
The new membrane filter plate is non-sensitive against high plate pack closing forces as well as high temperatures due to the specific dimension of the sealing edge and the particular design of the stayboss supports.
The special design of the pips and the geometry of the drainage-channels allow for an optimal filtrate flow, efficient cake washing result and prevent filter cloth damages.
