Magnet, Inc. announced today the release of Xlight FTP Server 2.7, an enhanced and cost-effective file management solution for enterprise. The Latest enhancements include SSL client certificate, Active Directory, Database stored procedure.
In the current enterprise environment, companies rely on various file transfer protocols to exchange data. FTP is one of the most popular protocols used by many companies. Unfortunately, most FTP server softwares can not be integrated into the enterprise environment. For example, the LDAP directory is widely used to store account information and password. Many enterprise E-mail servers use account information in the LDAP directory to authenticate users. But most FTP servers can not use the LDAP directory to authenticate users.
