Fiducia Selects Troux for Strategic IT Planning

Troux Technologies announced that Fiducia, the leading German IT services company for the financial services industry, will implement its software platform, Troux 7, to enable strategic IT planning and to ensure that its extensive SOA program is properly aligned with business and IT transformation initiatives.

Fiducia manages the IT infrastructures of more than 800 branches of Volksbank and Raiffeisenbank. The company had a number of functional planning tools for its complex and dynamic IT infrastructure, but these worked in isolation and did not provide the instant intelligence needed to manage the interdependencies between processes, services, applications, projects, assets and employees. To improve strategic planning, Fiducia selected Troux 7 to manage change, report on IT resources more effectively and optimize the overall IT landscape.

Troux 7 is the industry's first strategic IT planning platform to accelerate and scale benefits from business and IT transformations, such as geographic expansions, mergers and acquisitions, portfolio optimization, virtualization or SOA.

"Initially we looked at departmental IT planning solutions and modeling tools, but none were robust or adaptable enough to provide us with the scale or flexibility we needed," said Gerd Muller, head of IT Architecture for Fiducia. "Troux demonstrated better than any other solutions provider an understanding of our requirements. We saw Troux 7 as a breakthrough technology that finally unlocks the power of Enterprise Architecture. It will enable us to drive faster and broader change without introducing risk to the business."

Fiducia's Troux 7 platform includes collectors for Valuemation CMDB and Rational; Troux Standards Management; Troux Composer for customizing interfaces; and services to transfer knowledge and empower the Fiducia team to be fully self-sufficient once the platform has been implemented. The services will be delivered in conjunction with local partner, ACT!
