Prem Introduces SPB-700 Series of Ferrite Drum Core Inductors
The SPB-700 Series is Prem Magnetics' newest line of Ferrite Drum Core Inductors for Switchmode power supplies (SMPS) and other applications. This series utilizes ferrite material that is stable from 0 to their full rated current.
The SPB-700 Series consists of 26 parts. Each has inductance values ranging from 180.0 µHy @ 15.0 amps to 22000 µHy @ 2.70 amps DC. Typical dimensions for SPB-700 Series is 2.100" (53.34mm) diameter x 1.460" (37.08mm) height. Each part has a mounting hole through the center of the core that accepts a #6 - #10 non-metallic screw to secure the part to the printed circuit board. The two leads extend radically from the bottom of the core, and are 180° apart from each other.
All Prem standard inductors are 100% final tested prior to shipment. Pricing for the new SPB-700 Series is about $12.00 each in production quantities with availability from stock to 12 weeks.
