Lansdale, PA, April 2003 - Neptune's new Nimble Skid offers a compact, easily customized chemical feed system ideal for a variety of chemical feed applications. Minimal engineering is required to develop, customize and deliver a system in very quick turnaround time - days instead of the typical weeks. The Nimble Skid System accommodates two, three or four Series 500 "dia-PUMP" hydraulic diaphragm metering pumps.
The Nimble Skid's rugged plastic base features a 2,000-pound load capacity and is available in six sizes: 18" or 24" deep x 30"/36"/46" wide. Containment is available for all sizes. Piping and accessories can be specified in 316SS, PVC or other materials as required for corrosion resistance.
The Nimble Skid's Series 500 "dia-PUMPs" eliminate packing and provide leak-free metering of a wide variety of corrosive, flammable or hazardous liquids. They feature check valves that are removable for inspection or cleaning without disconnecting piping. With injection rates from .02 - 80 gph simplex, Neptune Series 500 "dia-PUMPS" handle pressures up to 3,000 psi. They can be adjusted by micrometer dial, while running, through 100% of their operating range.
