IBASE Announces New Fanless System ASB200-883 Based on Intel® Atom(TM) Processor
Taipei, Taiwan, December 2, 2008 - IBASE Technology Inc. (TASDAQ: 8050), a world-leading manufacturer of single board computers and embedded systems, announces the release of ASB200-883, a compact fanless embedded system based on IBASE IB883 3.5-inch disk-size embedded platform.
With the IB883 SBC that integrates the latest Intel® Atom(TM) N270 1.6GHz processor and Intel® 945GSE chipset, the ASB200-883 is a embedded system suitable for various low power and fanless platforms in automation, transportation, digital signage, medical and mobile applications.
A system that can be wall mounted or used as a desktop system, ASB200-883 comes in black color and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, dual USB 2.0 ports, one VGA/COM, DVI port, PS/2 keyboard/mouse connector and a DC-in jack at the rear edge. The front panel has two USB ports, the power and reset buttons, LEDs for power and hard disk drive and audio jacks for line in and line out. With dimensions of 240mm(W) by 162mm(D) by 37mm(H), this embedded system has a DDRII SO-DIMM socket, a 2.5-inch HDD drive bay and an 80W power adaptor. ASB200-883 is now in mass production.
