Magnalight's RNT-EPL-BS-70-TP1-100 tripod mounted explosion proof light is designed to provide operators requiring a temporary explosion proof lighting solution a versatile source of powerful illumination that can be utilized as either a tower or pedestal light. This explosion proof metal halide light is equipped with a non-sparking adjustable tripod that gives operators an easily set up tower that can be adjusted between 4 and 9 feet in height. This portable light tower effectively illuminates 13,000 square feet of work area and can be easily collapsed for loading and transport. The lamp assembly is designed to be removed from the tower and is fitted with a spun aluminum base that allows operators to remove the lamp and utilize it as a pedestal light in areas where a tower won't fit or is impractical. The lamp fixture consists of a 70 watt metal halide bulb, internal ballast, and aluminum finish reflector housed within a copper-free cast aluminum housing with durable yellow powder coat finish. The entire lamp assembly including covers and sealed fittings is made of copper-free aluminum and includes a thermal and impact resistant tempered glass for high durability and can be easily vertically and from side to side and locked into the desired position for precise lighting control. The adjustable non sparking aluminum tripod provides a stable platform and allows operators to adjust the lamp to any height between 4 and 9 feet for maximum work area coverage. The tower is light weight and can be collapsed and broken down for easy transport in the back of vehicles and trucks. This explosion proof light tower is approved for Class 1 and 2, Division 1 and 2 locations, and operates on standard 120-277 VAC current. 100 feet of chemical and abrasion resistant cord fitted with a 1523 explosion proof plug rounds out the package and makes this a highly maneuverable tower package that can be run from standard voltage.
