Larson Electronics Releases New 12,000 Lumen Explosion Proof LED Tank Light
Industrial lighting leader Larson Electronics has announced the release of a new cart mounted LED tank light designed to provide high output illumination in hazardous locations. The EPLC2-16C-150LED Explosion Proof Portable Tank Light gives operators 12,000 lumens of powerful illumination in an easy to deploy cart mounted design.
The EPLC2-16C-150LED explosion proof portable tank light from Larson Electronics is a cart powerful new lighting system designed to provide operators with an easy to deploy lighting system capable of illuminating 10,000 square feet of work space. This heavy duty LED tank light features a rugged wheel barrow style cart fitted with a high output LED lamp assembly producing 12,000 lumens of high intensity light output. Designed primarily as a tank light but ideal for a variety of applications, this light cart has a removable lamp assembly measuring 16 inches in diameter to allow passage through most standard sized tank entry ways. Operators can remove the lamp from the cart, pass the cart and lamp assembly through entry ways separately, then quickly reassembly the unit once inside without the use of tools. The LED lamp head is constructed of lightweight aluminum with a shatterproof lens for durability, has a 60,000 hour life rating, and contains 12 high output LEDs producing a total of 12,000 lumens of light output in a wide flood pattern. The lamp assembly is vertically and horizontally adjustable, with locking T-handle screws on each side to allow quick and easy adjustment and lock the lamp in place once set. The cart assembly is constructed from non sparking aluminum and is fitted with solid rubber wheels for no flat reliability. The cart is a wheel barrow design with integral lifting handles that makes rolling this explosion proof lighting system from one location to another easy and trouble free. Also included with this LED cart light is 250 feet of SOOW cord fitted with a straight blade explosion proof plug for ample range and secure connection in hazardous locations. This light can run from any voltage ranging from 120 to 277 VAC and T5 temperature rated for hazardous locations. Approvals include Class 1 Division 2, Groups A,B,C,D and Class 2, Division 1 - 2, Groups E,F,G for locations where flammable or explosive gases and vapors exist or have the potential to exist. This explosion proof lighting system is ideal for use in petrochemical tanks and storage containers on ships as well as any area where a portable lighting system providing high output and complying with hazardous location regulations is needed.
