Continental Instruments, Inc. Amityville, NY is proud to introduce the new Turbo Superterm-8! The Turbo Superterm-8 is an expandable intelligent controller capable of supporting all access control functions for one to eight doors. This distributed processor-based panel will operate as a standalone unit in the event server-communications are interrupted.
Features include 24 inputs (expandable to 72), 17 outputs (expandable to 65). It supports over 200,000 cards making it one of our more Intelligent Controllers. The Turbo Superterm is a cost-effective retrofit panel by storing multiple card (bit) formats in its internal memory. Supporting multiple bit formats allows existing card populations and readers to remain in place.
The UL approved Turbo Superterm-8 is compatible with all previous Continental controllers and has a download speed 5-10 times faster than previous Continental controllers, which means faster processing of events. With 4 Mb of memory expansion and battery backup, the Turbo Superterm-8 is a reliable Controller with a vast magnitude of benefit.
