Avtron Manufacturing Inc. Announces NetMax(TM) Ethernet Communications Module for the Reliance AutoMax(TM)
February 15, 2005, Independence, OH-Avtron's Industrial Automation Division introduces their new NetMax Ethernet(TM) communications module to Reliance AutoMax customers to support their Custom Classic Rockwell drive systems. The NetMax facilitates high speed Ethernet communications from the AutoMax controller to other plant devices such as PLC's, HMI's, Data Acquisition Systems, or High Speed Diagnostics Systems such as Avtron's Performance View(TM). Designed to insert into any open slot in an AutoMax controller the NetMax module opens the communications architecture to allow high speed communication without disturbing or burdening the existing DCSNet(TM) LAN. The Avtron NetMax module supports Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, and GE's EGD protocols, simultaneously. The NetMax module is jumper configurable to support copper or fiber and is compatible with 10/100Mb LAN speeds. The NetMax module can be used with AutoMax processors 57C430A and Higher and is supported by AutoMax Programming Executive version 2.0 or later.
